PRAYER WARRIOR FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST: As an ordained minister, Dwayne J. Torres has a ministry of love and support throughout the community. He has a practical approach that allows his message to reach people from all backgrounds. His unique way of speaking to the people, has a wonderful blend of love and understanding, making individuals feel comfortable to come as they are, with no judgement, and no restrictions. He uses his gifts to help those that are searching for spiritual guidance, and takes special interest in all those that he opens his door to. 


SHOWCASES OF THE EVENING: Elijah B Pringle III, brief Bio: Elijah B Pringle III ,artivist, has facilitated workshops on business/creative writing and has been published in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. His credits include work in Radio, TV, Stage and Film as an interviewer, writer, actor, singer, dancer, choreographer and director. He counts as his inspiration – his failures and credits his true education to 5 generations of teachers.


Poet Chappell, brief bio: Tarika Chappell has been writing poetry since the age of seven in which she wrote her first song lyric and a few poetry books. Tarika is known for the fluidity of her words and the passion behind each one of them both read or spoken. She is currently looking to take her next step in this journey called life to receive her PhD.
