PRAYER WARRIOR FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST: As an ordained minister, Dwayne J. Torres has a ministry of love and support throughout the community. He has a practical approach that allows his message to reach people from all backgrounds. His unique way of speaking to the people, has a wonderful blend of love and understanding, making individuals feel comfortable to come as they are, with no judgement, and no restrictions. 


SHOWCASES OF THE EVENING: Damien Cooper aka SparkDaPoet, brief Bio: Damien Cooper known poetically as SparkDaPoet, an artist, a creative, published writer and curator is one of a different cloth. He is the founder of both “Spilling with Spark” and “The MIC is Yours” an open mic experience. Spark fell in love with words during his 9th grade year and has never let his pen rest. He spent his time behind his expressive words and storytelling abilities.  


Emmett Peterson, brief bio: Emmett Peterson Jr., a gifted mind, is more than what meets the eye. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Emmett moved to Georgia in little what he knew would be the start of something great. A lover of music and writing, his creative journey began with a group of friends calling themselves The T.w.i.l.i.g.h.t. Writers [ The Wonderfully Intelligent Lyrically Inclined Group of Harmonious Talent] in 2010.
